In 1889, our ancestor José Sánchez Arroniz, who was a farmer and a pig breeder, travelled throughout Spain trading pigs. These were the early stages of a family saga of pig breeders that is recognised today for its skill and expertise. This is our best guarantee, the trust that has been placed in us and also in our products.

Señorío de Aldeavieja has been created by the merger of a family committed to pig breeding for several generations and the savoir-faire of an artisan butcher family in Guijuelo.

We are dedicated to the production of Ibérico hams, Ibérico shoulders and loin, by combining tradition and innovation. Our headquarters and facilities are located in the region of Guijuelo, home of the Ibérico ham. We control the whole process of every animal: Breeding, fattening and handling from birth to slaughter. These processes take place in our own estates and facilities.
